The Fall/Winter 2019 Haute Couture Show
PEARL OF THE FAR EAST
Whether it is in Indochine or in L’Amant, “Vien Dong” has been in the heart of France as a love. That loves inspired Patrick Pham. On his trip to the rural weaving villages, the young designer suddenly reminisce the distant memories. The luggage he brought back is filled masterpieces from the ivory-like hands of artisans from a country that is deeply in love with France. The old French sentiment for the Far East rises up again with another love story. Paris is just like to meet its old friend!
Coming to this Paris Fashion Week 2019, Patrick Pham presents 29 Couture dresses from handmade textile materials of Vietnam's most famous weaving villages, along with handmade accessories made by artisans from Hue – the Imperial city of the Nguyen Dynasty of Vietnam.
The Spring/Summer 2019 Haute Couture Show
Symbol of fortune in Asia, lucky charm, infinite erected towards the sky, Patrick Pham is fascinated by the number 8 because of its plenitude and its perfection. This collection augurs well: Patrick mixed his asian traditions, the french-vietnamese designer changed radically his vision about the couture, including an insolent modernity, with a touch of humour, literarily hijacking the sport materials, but still keeping his lines and shapes who belong only to him.
The touch of Patrick Pham comes down to colors and fabric he uses.
Colorful and flowery, Patrick Pham offers a second skin to those who wear them.
After working for ten years ago for various French brands he dicided to create himself his collection of luxury ready-to-wear in 2015.
The first collection Spring-Summer 2016 now reveals around the world, France, USA, Germany, and UAE.

Designer Patrick Pham Show During Haute Couture Paris Fashion Week
Light pink as a lotus flower, blue of the dawn sky in summer, or red chilli, green of the rice-fields… All the colours of Vietnam and of his childhood have inspired the French Patrick Pham for the 4 Seasons collection… Handmade embroideries, pearls on silk, on cashmere, lace, velvet or tulle. And the black of course, spellbinding in its evening gowns, festive nights, and caressing the flesh of chic but cheeky women.

Paris Fashion Week Haute Couture! It was the first time for me to attend a fashion show so Friday the 22nd was a historical day. It was for Patrick Pham’s fashion show. The venue was Hotel Renaissance, just next to the famous Arc de Triomphe. Patrick is a Vietnamese born French designer, we can see that his origin influences his creation as his silhouettes are feminine and he uses a lot of flower embroideries, a very popular traditional decoration in Asian culture. I love some of the dresses, like the yellow dress or the black with red flower embroideries.
